Description It is a European network promoting video education. The network responds to the increasing presence of video technology and streaming opportunities but also to the lack of concepts of how video can be used within education. Viducate proposes ideas especially within a creative use of video and how it can support citizenship and intercultural communication. The content of viducate is embedded in a broader media education background – supporting lifelong learning and the European Council‟s conclusion on media literacy in the digital environment.

The viducate core group is composed of activists including senior experts from media education, open media activists, teacher trainers, staff from media centres, web and video professionals and ministries of education from seven European countries
